- Laundry
Washing machines and dryers are located on the first floor of each building. They accept quarters and cost $1.25 per wash/dry.
- Telephone
Rooms are equipped with a telephone jack and free local service. Guests will be unable to make long distance calls without making a collect call or using a phone card. If you anticipate a high demand for long distance communication, please inform your participants to bring phone cards.
- Internet
All residence hall rooms are equipped with Ethernet jacks. Unless conference organizers have made prior arrangements with the Conference and Events Office, internet access will not be provided. If access is provided, guests must adhere to the MCC Acceptable Use Guidelines.
Monroe Community College acts as the Internet Service Provider for all users using the Ethernet network. Computers using residence hall Ethernet jacks must have an Ethernet network card installed. Guests may use a modem to dial their own ISP through the phone lines in each bedroom. Phone jacks in the residence halls can be used to dial local and toll-free numbers. Guests should bring their information on how to access their own ISP using a local Rochester telephone number or a 1-800 number. Conference staff will not provide technical assistance for computer users.
