Program Highlights                     Conference-at-a-Glance

Get your summer off to a great start with this year’s SUNYCDO Conference.  The conference is centrally located on the southern tip of Seneca Lake in beautiful Watkins Glen.   Plan to be there to enjoy the unique surroundings and picturesque views, and even more so to involve yourself in three days of learning and networking with colleagues, employers and exhibitors.

Our keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Richard Feller of Colorado State University.  His keynote promises to be informational, dynamic and tailored to fit our membership.  Given the challenges we all face in our daily activities, Dr. Feller will deliver a welcomed and timely message tuned in to our needs as counselors and career development professionals.  Recognized internationally as a speaker and trainer, his recent publications include a DVD on career abilities titled “Making the Most of Your Abilities” (JIST) and the 5th edition of “A Counselor’s Guide to Career Assessment Instruments” (NCDA).  Notably, Dr. Feller will be co-authoring the newest version (2009) of the Career Decision Making System with Art O’Shea.

Workshops are planned on technology, marketing to students, fundraising for the career office and the always popular employer panel.  Be there for the learning, the relaxation and time with your colleagues.
