Job Search Counseling


Students can discuss their employment and job search needs, such as resume and cover letter writing/critique, interview preparation, job search strategies, and employment opportunities with a counselor during an individual appointment or walk-in hours.
  • Job Search Walk-in Hours:  Walk-in hours are available for students with quick job search related questions.  Meetings are limited to 15 or 20 minutes and are handled on a first come, first served basis.

  • Individual Appointments:  Individual appointments are available to MCC students and alumni who are in need of working one-on-one with our professional staff regarding job search planning. To make an appointment call 292-2248 or stop by the Career and Transfer Center today (3-108.)

  • Job Search "Quick Question": Quick questions can be addressed through our "Talk-Live" chat forum available on Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 4:00pm (when school is in session). Click on the "Talk-Live" link on the Career and Transfer Center's home page. You may also e-mail us a quick question at jobsearch@monroecc.edu and receive a response within 48 hours.
