Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)
The Collegiate
Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)
is a college-based initiative targeted at the racially/ethnically
under-represented and/or economically less advantaged students
currently matriculating in post-secondary institutions.
CSTEP provides a comprehensive array of academic and support
services aimed at improving and enhancing program students
grasp of mathematical and scientific concepts and methodologies,
expanding their reading, writing, thinking, and computational
skills, increasing their awareness of careers in scientific,
technical, health, or licensed professions, and enhancing their
ability to successfully achieve their desired outcomes.
The New York State Department of Education funds this Program.
