- Placement Testing: Placement testing in English and mathematics is required of all entering full- and part-time matriculated students unless they have taken the ACCUPLACER test in the past three years or have had the test waived by the Admissions Office.
- Who is required to see an advisor?: All new students, re-admitted students with below a 2.0 GPA and all students in the following programs: Computer Science, Dental Studies, Engineering, Health Information Technology, Hospitality Programs, Information Systems, Liberal Arts-Sciences (Biology, Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Forestry & Pre-Pharmacy), Nursing, Office and Computer Programs, Radiologic Technology, and Transitional Studies. Readmitted students with a 2.0 GPA and above and transfer students not in programs that require advisement (listed above) are encouraged to seek advisement before registering for classes but are not required to do so. Register on-line now.
