Helpful SIS Screens for Advisement

102 Name Search – No Social Security number? Use this screen to locate a student's record.

103 Address/Phone Number – Locate address, telephone #, Birthdate, etc.

104 Registration Screen – To Register or Drop/Add a student.

105 Course Availability/Course Credit Hours – To find class offerings for a givensemester. You must enter the semester term. (ie. 019 for Fall 2001).

107 Class List – This provides a list of students currently enrolled in a specific course. You must enter the semester term.

109 Student Schedule – This is the student’s schedule. You must enter the semester term.

120 Student Schedule in Phase Sheet Format – This is the student’s schedule in the phase sheet format. You must enter the semester term. 111Current Program/Academic Status – This is used to check the academic standing of a Student. You must enter the semester term.

114 Matriculation Screen/Student Certification – This is used to track a student's matriculation and program changes.

130 Time, Location, and Instructor of a Course - Needs full course ID (ie. ENG 101-003). You must enter the semester term.

136 Transcript Display – Used to display a student’s transcript. 139Registration Audit Trail – Used to track a student’s registration trail. You are able to view drop/adds. You must enter the semester term.

148 Holds on Record – Trouble registering a student? Check this screen for holds from the Bursar, Counseling Center, Health Services, Parking or other areas of the College.

206 Admissions Decision Screen – 1st line is the program applying for, 2nd line is alternative program, 3rd line is the admitted program. 4th line is the admitted term. Conditions of acceptance codes are on the next to last line (lower left corner).

224 Accuplacer Test Results and Placements – This screen is used for English and Math placements and Accuplacer test scores. 625Null Degree Audit Report – Displays courses needed to complete a degree. Must enter the college, degree type, and code (ie. LA, AS, LA04). You must enter the most recent fall semester term.

681 On-Course Report – Displays courses needed for the student’s program and what courses they have completed towards their degree. Must enter the degree code. ie. LA04, BU01, DT02, etc. Can also be used to audit student against any other program by entering the appropriate program code.

PF2/F2 Help Key – place cursor over any element to see an explanation of the field components.

1F5 Courses Taught by an Instructor/Professor

WLM Wait List Management – Allows you to view the student’s place on the wait list for a specific course. You must enter the semester term, course code and section number.

ESL ESOL Test Results – Used to display ESOL students test results.

TRS Transitional Studies Screen – Used to follow a student’s progression through the transitional studies courses. Also displays instructor’s comments.
