Step By Step Guide to Registering Online
Click on Internet Explorer and go to the MCC Home Page (www.monroecc.edu)
Click on Quick Links, then Student Records
Enter Student ID (Your M# or SS# - ‘M’ is capitalized, and Zero’s are used – not O’s)
Enter PIN (typically your six-digit birth date, i.e. 061488).
Click Login
If your PIN does not work, contact Records & Registration at 292-2300.
Click Student & Financial Aid
Click Registration
Please note: Before you can register for classes, you must complete the Federal Reporting Survey. If the system prompts you, complete the survey, and then click ‘return to registration’.
Choose Add or Drop Classes
Select Term (Spring, Summer, Fall)
If prompted, type your Alternate Pin # aka Advisement Key (this is a six-digit computer generated number given to you by your advisor) then click Submit.
If you are registered for courses, your current schedule will appear.
If you have the CRN #’s (course section identifier) of the courses you want to register for, scroll to bottom of page and type in the CRN#’s in the boxes, then click Submit Changes.
If you do not have the CRN #’s, click Class Search
Select Subject (English) and Course # (101) and any other selection criteria.
Scroll to bottom of page and click Class Search
Pick the section you want and check the box indicator.
Scroll to bottom of page and click Register.
*Some courses may require you choose a lecture, lab and/or conference.
If you neglect to do so, you will receive a Link error message.
You may also waitlist for closed sections by adding the CRN # to your schedule. After you add the CRN#, you must choose the ‘WAITLIST’ action from the drop-down menu.
Click Submit Changes
The waitlisted course must appear on your schedule.
To Print Your Schedule:
Click Return to Menu
Click Student Detail Schedule
Click Submit for a printer-friendly version.
Click Printer Icon
