LOCATION AND OFFICE HOURS
We are located in the Counseling and Advising Center, Building 1, Room 231. We can be reached by phone at (585) 292-2264, or email at veterans@monroecc.edu We provide walk-in services to our students generally from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Services provided:
- Our primary function is to assist our students in determining their eligibility with the VA educational benefits application process, assisting with the application process, then certifying their course enrollments for VA benefit funding.
- Students who are eligible for benefits may also receive academic advisement, career counseling, and developmental counseling from our Veterans counselor, as scheduling permits. Appointments can be made by calling (585) 292-2264. If appointment times are unavailable, we will arrange for counseling through one of the other counseling department professionals and/or our advisement center.
- At times our students have questions regarding the VA educational program funding process or actually experience problems/delays with the process itself. The veteran services section can actually assist you in answering these questions or by helping you solve the problem. Please call (585) 292-2264 or walk-in during our open hours for assistance.
