Advisement Centers
Philosophy
MCC’s Academic Advisement Centers are committed to a developmental
approach in providing a variety of services in support of the College’s
mission of "student success". As such, through the collaborative efforts
of Academic and Student Services, MCC’s Advisement Centers will coordinate,
facilitate, promote and enhance:
- the most comprehensive
and current advising information to students and faculty
- achievement of
excellence through teamwork, collaboration and effective communication
- the development
of skills needed to assist students in taking an active role in
the advising process to ensure meaningful course selection and
program planning
