Betty Smith, Counselor Betty Smith, a 1982 graduate of MCC, has worked at the College since 1986. She provides Personal Counseling, Career Counseling, as well as teaching Career Development and Life Planning, and providing advisement/counseling to students. She is coordinator of the Evening Advisement and Senior Citizen Registration programs. She offers series of Returning Adult Workshops as well as a series of workshops for personal development: “Self Esteem” and “Learning to Put First Things First.” In addition to her A.S. degree from MCC, she has a B.S. and M.S. of Education from SUNY College at Brockport. Betty was inducted in to the MCC Hall of Fame; she has also received Chancellor Award of Excellence from SUNY.
