Taine Vinci, Asst. Director Taine has been a member of Counseling and Advising for over 25 years. She oversees the Academic Advisement Center, the Peer Advisor program which employs student leaders to assist with a number of advisement activities, and a variety of other advising related programs including creation of the College’s Academic Advising Atlas (AAA) webpage. Taine is fluent in sign language and is certified by the Library of Congress as a Braille Transcriber. She also created the Services for Students with Disabilities webpage for the College. A graduate of MCC herself, she holds an A.S. degree in Liberal Arts with a Certificate in Human Services, a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Education – Higher Education Administration from SUNY Brockport. In her spare time, Taine enjoys travel, golf, reading and cooking.
