Barbara Arnone, Senior Advisor Barbara came to MCC as an advisor in 1998. She has a B.S. in Education from SUNY College at Fredonia and her M.S. in Education from Nazareth College of Rochester. Barbra is a professional interpreter and is nationally certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. She was a staff interpreter at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf/Rochester Community. Barbara coordinates interpreters and notetakers and facilitates communication between faculty/staff and deaf and hard of hearing students. As a Senior Advisor, in addition to providing advisement and registration to MCC students as a whole, Barbara also works closely with students with documented disabilities, and is a strong advocate for this population.
