Connections: Come to our weekly group open to all students interested in making social "connections" here at MCC. Students are welcome to come to any meeting, no RSVP required. This group will meet every Wednesday for six weeks, September 19th-October 24th. Begins Wednesday, September 19th, 12:00-12:50PM, 1-108, PRISM.
Seeds of Success: Seeds of Success is a 90 minute workshop designed to help improve motivation, time management, study skills, and preparing for an exam. Seeds of Success will be offered on Wednesday, September 19th, 4:00-5:30PM in 5-100.
Meditation Practice: Come learn more about the benefits of meditation and mindfulness practices. Basic meditation instruction will be given with the opportunity to sit and practice in a quiet and welcoming environment. Beginners welcome! Come and go anytime during our session. Offered every Monday and Thursday, 12:00-12:50PM, 6-343, and every Friday, 12:00-12:50PM, 9-152.
AA Meeting: Education 'n Recovery: Open literature meeting. All are welcome. This group meets every Wednesday, 12:05-12:50PM, 9A-117.
Stress Relief Workshop: All students are welcome to attend our stress relief workshops. We aim to help students learn techniques and strategies for effectively managing stress. We will be offering two workshops this semester on: Tuesday, October 16th, 12:15-1:15PM, and Wednesday, November 14th, 12:00PM-1:00PM. Both workshops will be held on the 4th floor of the Brighton Campus Library.
