Parking and Transportation Services at DCC
Directions from East or South:
Take 490 West to Clinton Avenue exit. Stay in right lane. Cross Main Street and the Sibley Building
is on the right. Damon City Campus is located on the fourth and fifth floors of the Sibley Building.
Directions from West to North:
Take 490 East to South Avenue exit. At the 2nd light, turn onto Byron Street (towards Clinton Avenue). At the next light, turn
left onto Clinton Avenue. Cross Main Street and the Sibley Building is on the right. Damon City Campus is located on the fourth and
fifth floors of the Sibley Building.
East
End Garage is located next to Eastman Theater at 475 East Main
Street at Scio Street, offers a student discount rate of 25¢ per half hour with current MCC ID card. Entrances to the
East End Garage are located off Main, Scio, and Swan Streets.
St. Joseph's Garage is located behind the Sibley Building on N. Clinton Ave. and Pleasant St. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m.-1 p.m., closed Sunday. Rates: $.50 per 20 minutes with daily maximum $6; $2 evenings - enter after 4:30 p.m. Fall 2009 Semester Rate: $90 for registered MCC students enrolled in 1 class or more at Damon City Campus; limited number of parking keycards are available on a first-come first-served basis. Mortimer Garage is located across the street from the Sibley Buillding. Access to the Sibley building is via the pedestrian walkway that crosses over Clinton Avenue into the 2nd floor. Parking available for $35 a month and available first-come first-served basis to permit holders. No transient parking permitted.. Apply using this application.
Handicapped Parking
is available in the St. Joseph's Garage, on surrounding streets and other
nearby garages. Motorists with handicapped permits will receive preference
when buying monthly passes at garages where there is a waiting list. When
garages are full, handicapped motorists may enter by showing the garage
employee a handicap permit. For more information, call the City Clerks

TRAVEL BETWEEN DAMON CAMPUS
AND BRIGHTON CAMPUS
Students who park at the Brighton
Campus must obtain and display a parking permit (request permit on line through the student account). RTS bus transportation is also available:
bus #50 leaves the Sibley Building (on Clinton Ave. northbound) and stops
at the Brighton Campus; bus #24 leaves Main and St. Paul (on St. Paul
southbound) and stops across the street from the Brighton Campus.
RTS staff a kiosk on the first floor of the Sibley Building to assist customers. In addition bus schedules are available in the Damon Campus fourth floor atrium near
the main entrance to campus, and bus passes may be purchased at the Damon
Campus Bookstore. |
