Requirements for Accessing the
Dental Clinic 3-d Simulator

• High-speed (full) version
• Lower-speed processor and/or less graphics card memory
  
  
• The Monroe Community College Dental Clinic Simulator is designed to be used on computers running Windows. We suggest the following for interacting with it:
  • Windows 95/98/2000/ME or NT Service Pack 3
  • 300 MHz processor, with at least 64 MB RAM
  • An OpenGL compatible graphics card (most cards made within the last couple years are OpenGL compatible)
  • Internet Explorer 4.0 or later
• The simulation is played through the EON reality plug-in from http://www.eonreality.com. If you don't already have this plug-in, it will ask you if you wish to install it the first time you visit the simulation.
• The simulation will then automatically load and play.
• There are instructions for how to move around in the simulation on the bottom of the page.
• To start the simulation, pick one of the following two versions. Both versions contain the full simulation, but the low processor speed version has less of the textures, and some of the shapes have been simplified. Both versions' download files are approximately 1MB in size.
  • The full version: recommended for 500 MHz and up processors, with 32 MB and up of graphics card memory
  • The version for computers with a lower speed processor and/or less graphics card memory
