This series recognizes the pioneering spirit and outstanding leadership of Alice Holloway Young, Ed.D., a leading Rochester educator and founding trustee and board chair emerita of Monroe Community College.

Purpose: To promote and support a collegewide annual activity that addresses diversity and inclusion.

Short-term Goal: To raise awareness and engage the college community in dialogue about “The Power of Diversity.”

Long-term Goal: To promote a diverse and inclusive environment; to become a workplace of choice in the community; to spawn diversity-related activities; and, to embed diversity in college programs.
