The Educational Opportunity
Program, known as EOP, is
an academic and financial
support program for students who
are New York State residents
who meet specific economic
and academic guidelines. The
program is designed to provide
qualified students with a
chance to learn and grow, to set
goals and reach those goals.
The Educational Opportunity Program enrolls a diverse group of students,
including men and women of all ages. They have many different interests
and enroll in majors varying from art to pre-medical studies. Their goals
range from preparing for a good job after MCC, to enrolling in four-year
colleges and professional schools. Many of them work while attending school
to support themselves and their families.
If you are looking for a chance
to go to college, the Educational Opportunity Program at MCC may be your
answer.
For more information an Educational
Opportunity counselor is available in the Student Services office for
EOP students.
