New Student Orientation will help you:
- To interact with friendly faculty staff and administration that are here to help you to succeed.
- To learn about life on campus from Peer Leaders and make new friends.
- To manage and find your way through campus by participating in a campus tour.
Our Orientation program is designed to benefit the student and their guests.
The Student Program highlights what the Student should expect in their first semester. Students will meet with Advisors and Academic Department Staff to register for their classes. Peer Leaders will assist in the Advisement and Registration process. Peer Leaders are students who have been through intensive training to provide new students with the numerous resources and opportunities on campus to assist in the transition to MCC. Students will also have the opportunity to receive their school photo ID.
Guests (parents, spouses, friends) of entering MCC students are ENCOURAGED to attend the Guest orientation program held on the same day as the student's orientation. The Guest Program highlights a specialized session for guest to assist in answering questions about books, meal plans, parking, student support services, and advice on how to be supportive of their new student.
Orientation/Advisement/Registration check-in is on the 4th floor. Please come 15 minutes early to sign in.
If you would like to make a reservation or have any questions, please contact DCC Student Services at (585) 262-1740.
