High School Engineering Competition

The overall championship goes to the school that has the greatest point total and has at least one entry in each of the four events*.
Points are awarded on the following basis for each of the four events (SumoBot, Wooden Bridge, Auto Safety, and Cable Car).
Tie-breakers: If two or more schools have equal total scores the following tie-breakers will be used.
1st tie-breaker: Most auto safety cars, SumoBots, bridges, and cable cars finishing in the top 4
2nd tie-breaker: Most unique auto safety cars, SumoBots, bridges, and cable cars participating* (max of 4 per event)
3rd tie-breaker: Most SumoBot match victories
4th tie-breaker: Fastest cable car time
* Robots, cars and bridges must pass the MCC check-in inspection and constitute a unique design from their school to be counted.
