The mechanical designer of today requires a knowledge in many areas, including mechanical drafting, computer-aided drafting/design (CAD), machine shop, robotics and machine components. As technology continues to change and evolve the tools and skills neccesary to be successful as a mechanical or manufacturing technician are also changing.
CAD, Robotics, Automation Control and DFM/DFA, it's all part of the Integrated
Manufacturing Program. If you are a hands-on individual interested in
design or production, chances are you'll find a curriculum that fits your
