ELT 201 - Linear Systems

A study of linear amplifier and power supply circuits. Course topics include small-signal and power amplifiers using bipolar and field effect transistors. Frequency response of amplifiers, op amps, and applications of op amps. Negative feedback principles. Students build, test and troubleshoot amplifier circuits in the laboratory. Computer analysis of multi-stage amplifier circuits. Three class hours, four laboratory hours.

4 Credits

Prerequisites: ELT 102 and ELT 112 with a grade of C- or better.
