Description: |  | A course to acquaint students with the phenomena, terminology and practices of selected technologies, history, present status and possibilities for the future are discussed. The course is divided into blocks sampling topics in Automotive, Civil Electronics, Fire Protection, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Optical, and Quality and Reliability Technology. The student will be introduced to some basic theory, typical class material and career opportunities for the various technologies. Fall semester only. Three class hours. |
