DEADLINES 
Students who plan to live in the MCC Residence Halls need to apply
for financial aid prior to March 15th to insure that financial aid
can be credited to their housing charges. Students who do not plan
to attend live in the MCC Residence Halls are not required to apply
for financial aid prior to March 15th, however they are strongly
encouraged to file the following applications as soon as possible
prior to the start of the semester in which they plan to enroll.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
or Renewal FAFSA. This application can be filed on the internet
at: www.fafsa.ed.gov .
New
York State Express TAP Application can be accessed on the
Internet ONLY when you file your FAFSA via “FAFSA On The Web”. If
you file a paper FAFSA, NYS Higher Education Services Corporation
(HESC) will mail a paper TAP Application approximately 4 weeks after
filing a FAFSA.

Federal Work Study Application, if interested.This

MCC Scholarships can be applied for from March
to July, prior to each school year. Visit the “MCC
Scholarships” page to review all the scholarships available
at Monroe Community College.
Additionally, please note that students who wish to use financial
aid to cover their tuition bill for a semester need to have their
financial aid results prior to the tuition bill due date for that
semester. Tuition bills are typically due one month prior to the
start of a semester.
Students should also be aware that the federal and state aid applications
must be filed and all required documentation must be submitted by
the last day of their enrollment in order to receive financial aid
for that award period.
