Students and families can file the FAFSA online at Results are sent to the student and MCC usually in a week from filing, if your application is electronically signed with your FSA ID.

The MCC Financial Aid Office also recommends that students (and Parents) utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing a FAFSA, to reduce their follow up paperwork and promote accuracy.

To help facilitate electronic filing of the FAFSA, the MCC Financial Aid Office schedules FAFSA Filing Workshops at both the Brighton and Damon City Campus's throughout the year to assist students with this process. Click on workshops to see the schedule.

In addition, the U.S. Department of Education provides a helpful guide for completing the FAFSA. This is available in a web based and PDF format, in both English and Spanish on the Federal Student Aid web site.
