Come early for the pre-race festivities including Zumba warm-up, face painting, photo both and more!
The USATF certified 3.1 mile, family-friendly walk/run is open to the college community and general public.
Student participants who are enrolled in MCC in September 2014 will be eligible to enter our scholarship drawing - scholarships totaling $4,000 will be awarded at 12:30 pm during the Tailgate Party following the walk/run on Homecoming Day! Rules and regulations apply.*

$18 per person when you pre-register by September 21
$23 per person on or after September 22
$10 for current MCC students
Free for children ages 12 and under
Teams and team members must pre-register by Sept. 21
You can register in person on the day of race, starting at 10am.
Proceeds from MCC's 8th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships will be directed to the MCC Foundation general scholarship fund.

Following the 5K, join us for a tailgate party and lunch. Enjoy music, ice-cold beverages and a hot buffet lunch in the gymnasium. Awards and scholarship drawing at 12:30 pm. Lunch tickets are $8 per person and may be purchased for you, your family and friends! (The hot buffet lunch is not included in your walk/run registration fee.) Children ages 12 and under are free of charge. Please make your lunch reservation by September 24. Tailgate Luncheon is sponsored by the MCC Association and Sodexo.
Stay for the day and cheer on the MCC Tribunes. Women's and Men's soccer teams, DiMarco Field. Game times and opponents to be announced soon.
The 5K Walk/Run for Scholarships and the Tailgate Party are hosted by the Monroe Community College FOUNDATION
Students who are physically unable to run or walk, but wish to enter the drawing, must contact the MCC Foundation by September 20 to learn about participation opportunities. Student(s) must attend on race day.
