Vice President of Human Resources,
Wegmans Food Markets, Inc.

Nominated by Richard S. Warshof ’68

Alumnus Kevin T. Stickles went from stocking store shelves as a young man to managing more than 44,000 employees as a seasoned operations and human resources professional for Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. His success story correlates to the values of our community's most legendary companies—setting and maintaining high standards, making a difference and caring for the well-being and success of employees.

A member of the MCC Tribunes men's golf team, Kevin graduated from MCC with an associate degree in business administration and economics before transferring to SUNY Oswego to pursue a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and economics. He earned his MBA from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, with a concentration in management and finance.

While working his way up through the ranks to store management, Kevin directly supported 20 new store openings. His MCC roles are threefold: as an alumnus, an MCC Foundation director and the college's newest trustee. He also serves on the Nazareth Human Resource Management Advisory Council, the Ibero Advisory Board, and several human resources boards and associations. He lives with his family in Brighton.

His support of MCC and its students and workforce development comes in many forms.
