Xerox’s Mulcahy Announces $1.75 mil Gift During Acceptance Speech |
On the evening of December 13, 2006 Monroe Community College Foundation hosted its 17th Annual Salute to Excellence Dinner, which celebrates and recognizes outstanding company and individual philanthropists, alumni and volunteers who have contributed to Monroe Community College. The event raises funds to support student scholarships and faculty excellence while celebrating the positive social and economic impact MCC continues to have on its community. |

| The evening produced an unexpected tribute and generous surprise from the event’s 2006 Salute to Excellence honoree, Anne Mulcahy, Chairman and CEO, Xerox Corporation. Ms. Mulcahy, who accepted the award on behalf of the entire Xerox team, had a special award of her own to bestow. During her acceptance speech, Mulcahy announced a gift of $1.75 million from Xerox Foundation to MCC, payable over the next five years. |
