The Strategic Resource Development & Grant Management Office at Monroe Community College provides expertise and technical assistance to the MCC community to develop and sustain a solid College-wide financial foundation, in support of the college's mission and strategic goals.

External funding for MCC flows through the Grants office. The office is responsible for:

  • identifying and/or reviewing potential funding sources;
  • assisting faculty and staff with project development and budgeting;
  • proposal writing (in collaboration with project staff, internal approvals, and submission of application materials;
  • handling award documents and contract acquisition, and regulatory compliance;
  • monitoring project implementation, timelines, and evaluation;
  • post-award grants management, reporting and closeout.

Due to compliance requirements and institutional financial review, all applications for external funding must be submitted through the Grants Office. The Grants office is the primary liaison with funding agencies and MCC authorized officers.

Review Internal funding opportunities for which faculty and staff compete for funds outside of their regular operating budgets.
