Fire Extinquisher
 

Portable Fire Extinguishing Training - Per OSHA regulations and standards (29 CFR 1910.157) employers who provide portable fire extinguishers for employee use are required to have fire extinguisher training upon initial employment and then annually. This hands on training will provide employees with the general principles of portable fire extinguisher use, the hazards involved and will show you how to reduce the risks associated with this costly killer.

Satisfy your yearly OSHA requirements with our on-site class. Our training program uses the latest state of the art equipment and professional fire service instructors. The classroom portion can be delivered online or at your site by our instructors. It also includes hands on exercises using a fire extinguisher on controlled burns.

Active Shooter Awareness - This seminar is intended to focus on commoon police response procedures. Course topics covered include typical police response, plans and needs, a basic understanding of what an active shooter crisis is,how law enforcement can assist in preparing your organization for these types of incidents, and assiting with your organization plan.

Active Shooter Intermediate - A table-top exercise. This seminar will focus on the response phase of an active shooter incident. It is intended to test the participants emergency response capabilities and develop working relationships during an incident. (It is recommended that the participants complete the Active Shooter Awareness course.)

Terrorist bombing  

Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings (IRTB) and Prevention of and Response to Suicide Bombing Incidents (PRSBI) seminars provide basic instruction on response procedures for terrorist incidents involving energetic materials including presentations that address potential terrorist bombing targets in U.S. communities and training on suicide bombing threats which includes familiarization with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and explosive materials typically used in suicide bombings.

Global Terrorism and the Internet is a one day seminar on "Terrorist use of the Internet" presented by Dr. James Forest Ph,D Director of Terrorism Studies, Associate Professor at the US Military Academy at West Point and, an associate for the Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) at the USMA. This presentation is intended to provide upper level private and public sector managers and information technology professionals with pertinent, timely information on vulnerabilities, and what can be done to protect those targets.

Cyber Children  

Cyber Skills To Protect Our Children seminar will cover various topics surrounding the protection of our children in today’s electronic world. These topics include: MySpace, Facebook, Gmail, blogging, common acronyms used by children while communicating on the internet, text messaging, use of webcams, cell phones, and the responsibilities of parents, teachers, and administrators.

Ambulance   Principles for Management of Mass Casualty Incidents course is an organizational challenge for Firemen, Law enforcement, EMT's EMS who are as important in saving lives as doctors and nurses are in an MCI. The presenter shows why an MCI is less about medical response and more about organizational response - the very organization you need in the field to make a difference. This program has been designed to do nothing less than get your community ready.

Community response  

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is designed to help communities (neighborhoods and worksites) prepare for effective disaster response through training and planning. CERT training is designed to prepare participants to help themselves, their family, and their neighbors in the event of a catastrophic disaster. Because emergency services personnel will not be able to help everyone immediately, participants can make a difference by using the training from this course to save lives and protect property.

Bomb   Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Threat and Risk Assessment course prepares managers to conduct a comprehensive risk assessment for a WMD incident. It will also prepare the multi-discipline team of emergency responder managers and community leaders from the private and public sectors to prevent, respond to, or recover from a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE)/terrorism incident. Participants will receive 2.4 CEUs (continuing education units) upon successful completion of this course.

Bomb site   Enhanced Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Threat and Risk Assessment course is to help to prevent an attack in your jurisdiction. Enhanced Threat and Risk Assessment (ET&RA) is designed to teach multidiscipline teams the skills necessary to conduct an enhanced vulnerability assessment in order to identify weaknesses in potential targets that could be exploited within the jurisdiction. The skills learned in this course will better prepare the jurisdiction to reduce its vulnerabilities at critical assets and prevent an attack with a WMD.
