What: MCC Catcher's Camp with Hitting and Pitching Camps
Where: The PAC Center, MCC's state-of-the-art indoor turf facility
Ages: Boys and Girls ages 6-18
Dates: Saturday mornings: October 20 and 27; November 3, 10, and 18; December 8 and 15
Time Catcher's Camp: 8-9:30 a.m.; Hitting and Pitching: 9:30-11 a.m.

Camp Features: The camp has a wide-ranging array of drills to develop young catchers. The techniques, drills, and philosophies preached to MCC catchers are in turn taught to the campers to further develop their skills. Numerous boys and girls who have attended have gone on to excel at the position. The camp allows the time needed to focus on a position that is so important to the game of baseball. Techniques of the position are taught and refined with a multitude of drills focused on throwing mechanics, blocking, receiving, pitch-calling, bunt coverage, covering home plate, and becoming a team leader. There will also be film study sessions on major league and college catchers. Every camper will receive a camp T-shirt and have the opportunity to win awards.
