The Liberal Arts Mentor Program is designed for Liberal Arts students who seek a long-term mentoring relationship. If you participate in this Program, you will meet with faculty from your own classes who will be able to assist you with your course selection and registration. You are afforded the opportunity to further interact with Liberal Arts Faculty who can assist you in other areas beyond advisement. They may offer suggestions for long range career planning and college transfer information each semester.

Students who participate in the Liberal Arts Mentor Program:

• Have one academic advisor while attending MCC
• Have an advisor whom they already know from their courses
• Have someone to turn to for academic questions and a supportive mentor who can advise them and direct them to other valuable resources on campus.
• Develop a multi-level relationship with their instructors/advisors outside the classroom.
