Requesting books via FirstSearch


How to Request Books Through FirstSearch's ILL DIRECT -- (Electronically)

FROM A CAMPUS COMPUTER:

1. Connect to WORLDCAT
2. Search for the book(s) that you want to borrow.
3. When viewing the Detailed Record of a particular title (see Figure 1), you can click on the "ILL" (InterLibrary Loan) icon in the grey bar .

4. Fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request Form and submit.
5. You will need to complete the *required fields AND choose your Dept or Branch from the drop down menu.
6. When the form is complete, click on the submit button.  You should see the following (Figure 2) on the resulting screen:

You may also request ILL Direct items from the FirstSearch ERIC database using the same process.
