About JSTOR JSTOR is a subscription Internet-based database containing the full-text archives of scholarly journals, some of which date back to the 1800s. Current issues are usually not included and there is sometimes a gap of 1-5 years between the most recent issue of a journal in print and the most recent issue on JSTOR.
