Students who plan to transfer and earn a baccalaureate degree with a major in mathematics for preprofessional preparation for careers as mathematics teachers, industrial mathematicians, computer scientists, professional actuaries and the like may wish to earn the A.S. degree in Mathematics (MC02) or add a Certificate in Mathematics (MC01) to their current program.
