Richard
M. Guon

Local Appointment | Mr. Guon is the owner of multiple McDonald’s restaurants in the Greater Rochester area. He is a founding board member of the Ronald McDonald House and the Rochester Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities. Mr. Guon is on the boards of the Rochester Broadway Theatre League, the Monroe County Water Authority Board, and the MCC Foundation. He is a member of Rochester Rotary and president of the Rochester McDonald’s Operators Association. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. |
Kenneth G. Goode

Mr. Goode is the owner of the management consultant firm, Kenneth G. Goode and Associates. He is a prolific author and presenter, as well as a member of the American Academy of Social and Political Science. Mr. Goode worked for Monroe County for 10 years, first as director of the Department of Affirmative Action and Community Relations and then as director of the Office of Government and Community Affairs. He has also worked as a research attorney for the University of California. Mr. Goode earned a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Arizona and has a master’s degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. |
John Bartolotta
Local Appointment |
Mr. Bartolotta is group manager/administrative vice president of M&T Bank. He has extensive banking experience in both the development of new commercial loan relationships and sales strategies. Mr. Bartolotta currently serves on the board of directors of the Humane Society of Rochester and Better Business Bureau, Inc. He is past president and served on the boards of directors of the Monroe Community College Foundation and the Locust Hill Country Club. He is past chair of the Al Sigl Center Sports Committee. A graduate of Aquinas Institute and Rochester Business Institute, Mr. Bartolotta is a veteran of the US Marine Corps Reserve. |
Ilene
L. Flaum

Mrs.
Flaum is actively involved in running Flaum Management, a family-owned
business dealing with real estate ownership, finance and management.
A New York State Senate Women of Distinction Honoree in 1998, she is
a past member of the WXXI Strategic Planning Committee and was co-chair
of the WXXI Public Television Auction and Fine Arts Auction in 1994.
Mrs. Flaum is also involved with Jewish Family Service, having served
two years as vice president and currently serving as secretary. Additionally,
she volunteers on the Compeer Golf Tournament Committee. She graduated
with a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, and received the
School of Management’s Alumni of the Year Award. |
Howard Konar
Gubernatorial Appointment |
Mr. Konar is president of Konar Properties, and a former partner in the law firm of Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor, and Wilson. He currently serves as a board member of the Jewish Community Federation, Rochester Management, Inc., the Workforce Investment Board of Monroe County, and Highland Hospital, and as board chair of the Monroe Community College Foundation. Additionally, he chairs the advisory board of MCC’s Holocaust Genocide Studies Project. In 2008 Mr. Konar was appointed by President George W. Bush to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, the governing board of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his law degree from Fordham University. |
Devin Lynch

Devin Lynch is a second-year Business Administration major at Monroe Community College. He served as an At-Large Senator on the Student Senate, responsible for all students on campus and serving as a primary advocate to faculty, staff and administration for student concerns. He is also a voting member of the Civility Committee and works as a self-directed day trader. Lynch has achieved Dean’s List since his admission to the college and was enrolled in leadership development courses. |
Richard F. Mackey

Mr. Mackey was Monroe County’s deputy county executive for 10 years and director of human resources for three years. He began his business career at Western Regional Off Track Betting Corporation in Batavia, NY where over18 years he advanced from director of personnel to vice president. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. |

Mr.
Parrinello has been a partner in Redmond & Parrinello, LLP, attorneys-at-law
since 1968. Listed in “The Best Lawyers in America,” this retired U.S.
Marine Corps Captain served on the Rochester City Council in the 1970’s.
Mr. Parrinello received his law degree from Syracuse University College
of Law, his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester, and is
a graduate of Aquinas Institute. He is presently a member of the Trustees
Council at the University of Rochester. Mr. Parrinello and wife Diane
Davies Parrinello have four children and six grandchildren. |
Richard S. Warshof

Mr. Warshof was a Rochester businessman for more
than 30 years, until his retirement from Paychex in 2002 as area vice president and director of marketing. Prior to
joining Paychex, he had a 25-year career at Rochester Community Savings Bank, where he rose to president of the Retail
Banking Division. Mr. Warshof serves on the boards of The Center for Governmental Research, Junior Achievement and the
Monroe Community College Foundation, where he serves as chair. He has served on the MCC Foundation board of directors
since 1991 and was inducted into the college’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 1995. He has a master’s degree from the Rochester
Institute of Technology, a bachelor’s from SUNY Buffalo and an associate’s from MCC. |
Wayne E. Zyra
Local Appointment | Wayne Zyra is president of the Monroe County Legislature and represents residents of Clarkson, Hamlin and Sweden on the county’s highest elected body. His public service began in 1981 as a member of the Sweden Planning Board. Mr. Zyra had a 32-year career at Eastman Kodak Company, retiring as a product development manager. Prior to his career at Kodak, he was employed by Grumman Aircraft Company where he was a part of the Lunar Lander Program. He serves on the boards of many local agencies, including the Genesee Transportation Council, the Greater Rochester Visitor’s Association, the Rochester Museum and Science Center. |
