Welcome to the ETS Technology Training Program! Our goal is to help you keep pace with changing technology, reduce frustration and become more productive in your work.
The ETS Technology Training Program offers many different development activities designed to provide opportunities for professional growth to every employee of the college community. Offerings fall into the following categories:
Just in Time” Training Sessions
The ETS Technology Training team offers a full catalog of technology training sessions available on a call-to-schedule basis throughout the entire year. We call this training “Just In Time”. You will find the catalog by clicking the link above or by logging into myMCC. Click on the Tech Tab, Technology Links Channel, Technology Training Link. Browse through the catalog, highlight the sessions you are interested in and contact the trainer listed for the session. From there, we will schedule your session choices at a time convenient for you.
ETS January and June Technology Weeks
Twice per year, in January and in June, the ETS Technology Training team offers a conference-style event. We schedule multiple technology-related sessions each day with a variety of topics to choose from during each time slot (9:30-10:30 a.m.; 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; 1-2 p.m. or 2:30-3:30 p.m.). Each session is one hour in length and is designed to teach you a specific skill in a hands-on format and/or inform you of new technology coming to campus. Registration is required for this event. Technology Assessment, Consultation and Support:
Set up individualized appointments with a member of our ETS Training Team. We can act as your personal consultant to guide you through the most efficient use of technology in your work place. We can also asses your personal computer skill level and make recommendations as to the best training path to meet your needs. The ETS Technology Support Center – 292-TECH (8324)
We understand that using technology can, at times, be very frustrating to say the least! If you are having technology related problems please do not hesitate to call our ETS Technology Support Center at 292-TECH (8324). Through this centralized number, students can contact the Student Help Desk through Option 1 (be sure to refer them!). Option 2 will give faculty members access to technology assistance in the classroom , and Option 3 will lead employees to technology software and hardware support.
