Basic ARFF Class

This 40-hour specialized aircraft fire fighting course is designed to provide aircraft firefighters the basic level of skills and knowledge required to handle fires on board aircraft, aircraft crash incidents and hazardous materials. Both hands-on use of the aircraft fire training simulators and classroom presentations will be provided to the students.

The hands-on training sessions will consist of conducting advanced rescue techniques, application of fire fighting foams, apparatus operation, use of fire fighting tools and appliances, and fire suppression operations in an aviation environment.
