PUBLIC SAFETY LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Do you have good ideas for your organization that you can't
get others to consider?
Have you ever been on a committee that came up with great
solutions to problems only to find that the solutions are never
implemented?
As a leader or future leader in your organization, do you
have a solid vision of what your organization should be? Can
you get your organization there?
The Building for Tomorrow program helps leaders and managers
in public safety shape the future of their organizations while
increasing their organization's operating effectiveness.
The program is divided into three phases: Building Personal
Leadership Effectiveness, Building Team Effectiveness, and Building
Organizational Effectiveness.
The courses emphasize experiential
learning. The integration of small and large group discussions,
active group initiative and problem solving exercises, personal
reflection, personal assessment tools, and practical models provide
a framework to transfer the knowledge and skills outside of the
classroom to "real life."
