MCC Paramedic Program Alumni Capt. Richard Russotti, EMT-P
Rick Russotti has been involved in the fire service and emergency medical service since
the early 1980's. After graduation from the MCC Paramedic Program in 1991, he has gone
on to lead several career and volunteer advanced life support departments in the Monroe
County area. Now serving a fourth term in office, Rick was the first paramedic to be
seated as Vice-chairman of the Monroe-Livingston REMAC.
Rick is currently a Captain with the Ridge Road Fire District, assigned to special
operations as EMS Officer. Captain Russotti has become known for improving patient
care by enhancing fire service first-response EMS, and promoting strong working
relationships among fire departments and EMS agencies. Rick frequently lectures
to firefighters and emergency medical technicians as a Certified Instructor
Coordinator and NYS Fire Instructor. Rick is one of the most respected Paramedics in our
region. His efforts have helped our system to become a leader in Emergency Medical Care.
The MCC Paramedic Program is proud that Rick is an Alumnus.
