Program Outline
Specialized Aircraft Firefighting
This 8-hour (1-day) program will provide firefighters with the knowledge and skills to extinguish aircraft interior fires, engine fires and wheel/brake fires. Interior fires include: flight deck/cockpit, baggage compartment, lavatory and galley. This simulation may provide flashover effect. Classroom and live simulations will be utilized. This program will meet and exceed FAR Part 139 requirements.
