A transcript is a copy of a student's permanent academic record, which includes all courses taken, all grades received, all honors received and degrees conferred to a student.

Important Notes

All OFFICIAL academic transcripts must be requested by the student. You may order your OFFICIAL transcript as follows:

  • Online
    • Current Students (active within the past 12 months)
      • Log in to MyMCC using your Network Account Username and Password
      • Click on the "Student Services" tab
      • On the left side in the "Registration and Records" section, beneath "Check Your Grades" click on "Request an Official Transcript"
    • Alumni / Past Students
      • Find the Student Records login from MCC's home page (in the upper right hand corner, click "A-Z Index" and "S")
      • Log in using your Student ID (M#) and PIN (6 character/digit)
      • "Student" / "Student Records" / "Request Printed Transcript"

  • In Person
    • Stop by MCC's Registration & Records office in Building 6 on the 2nd floor (6-203)
    • Located at 1000 E. Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623
    • Fill out a Request for Official Transcript form and sign
    • If you are taking the transcript with you, you will need to show a photo ID.

  • URGENT Requests
    • Need to overnight a transcript?
    1. PRINT TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM
      > Fax to: (585) 292-3850
      OR
      > Take a Digital Image & Email to Registration@monroecc.edu
      Please put "URGENT - Overnight Transcript Request" in the subject line.
    2. Go to UPS website and prepay for the overnight shipping
    3. Once you get a shipping label emailed from UPS, please forward the scannable/legible electronic label to Registration@monroecc.edu.
      Please put "URGENT - Overnight Transcript UPS Label" in the subject line
    4. Call our office (585) 292-2300 for confirmation.
    5. NOTE: The transcript request & legible label must be received by the 2 PM deadline to be processed the day it was received. Otherwise, your request will be processed the next business day.
    6. You must forward the clearly legible label. If the label cannot be scanned by the UPS courier, your transcript will not be sent overnight.

Important Notes:

  • Students wishing to pick up their Official Transcripts may do so with a photo ID.
  • There may be up to a two (2) hour wait for processing if the transcript is ordered online and picked up in person.
  • If the official transcript is issued to the student, it will state "Issued to Student" on the transcript.
  • If a student has an outstanding debt to the college (Hold on their account), academic transcripts will not be released. When payment in full is made, please contact the Registrar's Office at 292-2300 or by e-mail at registration@monroecc.edu to inform us of the release of your financial hold.

UNOFFICIAL academic transcripts can be viewed online at anytime.

  • Current Students (active within the past 8 months)
    • Log in to MyMCC using your Network Account Username and Password
    • Click on the Student Services Tab
    • On the left side in the "Registration and Records" section, beneath "Check Your Grades" click on "View Your Unofficial Transcript"
    • Click on "Academic Transcript"

  • Alumni / Past Students
    • Find the Student Records login from MCC's home page (in the upper right hand corner, click "A-Z Index" and "S")
    • Log in using your Student ID (M#) and PIN (6 character/digit)
    • Click on "Student" / "Student Records" / "Academic Transcript"
