New Housing Applicants for 2009-2010
- March 16, 2009 the Housing Application went live online beginning at 8 am. At this time applications can be submitted over the phone.
- A $200 housing application deposit is required in order for the housing application to be active. The application fee can be submitted at a later date. In order to be considered for the first round of offers we encourage students to submit the application fee by April 1, 2009. Payment can be made through the Pay Pal link or at www.monroecc.edu/go/deposit or mailed following the submission of the application online:
Housing and Residence Life
1000 E. Henrietta Rd.
Rochester, NY 14623
- Please make checks payable to the MCC Association, Inc. Include the student name and ID on all submitted payments. Students are encouraged to submit an application even if they do not have the application fee upon submission.
- Applications will not be processed until payment has been received. Deferrals are not available. Beds will be offered for the Alice Holloway Young Commons based on the date and time the web application is submitted.
- The application fee will become a security deposit if a bed in the Alice Holloway Young Commons is offered and accepted. A written request for the refund of the application fee can be made if a bed is not received.
- Once a bed is offered students are required to sign an offer letter agreeing to the financial and community standards of the Alice Holloway Young Commons.
- Proof of current comprehensive insurance coverage is required for all residents. Residents covered by health insurance that is equal to or more comprehensive than the policy available through the college must certify to that effect to receive a waiver. Students must submit the name and policy number of their insurance to the Health Services Office. The purchase of student health insurance coverage through Niagara National is available at a reasonable cost to the student. Information on the student health insurance policy is available through the Health Services web site.
We offer housing on a rolling basis dependent on the date and time of the active application. It is expected that applicants are prepared to meet all housing requirements and payment deadlines upon acceptance of the bed offer. The offer dates are below:
