This course meets a Social Science Elective. Students in this course earn credit by serving in a placement of their choice. Students serve for 135 hours during the semester (approximately 9 hours per week) and attend a series of eight seminars that cover topics from citizenship development to what makes a community work. This course is offered at Brighton and Damon City Campuses. (3 credit hours)
Service Project: Student choose where they would like to serve. They can either survey the Rochester area schools, neighborhood associations, community based organizations or agencies where there are needs going unmet or are under met.
