Leadership Institute

The
primary purpose of the MCC Leadership Institute is to foster student
learning and personal development. With the creation of powerful learning
environments, students are offered experiential learning opportunities
that will allow them to apply knowledge obtained in the classroom,
develop leadership skills and reflect on their learning experiences
and desired outcomes. Through collaborative learning that is fused
with activities, students are able to continuously improve themselves
in response to evaluation and feedback. The Leadership Institute provides
the curriculum for learning, and co-curricular programs provide the
venue for educationally purposeful experiences.

Bearing Classes:
The Leadership
Development Seminar (LDS
101-181) is offered each fall on the Brighton Campus. Classes meet on Tuesday evenings. You can access the

The Leadership Development Seminar (LDS 101-CC2) is now being offered this spring (2008) at the Damon City Campus. Classes are offered on Wednesdays from 5:00 – 8:40 p.m. beginning February 25th. If you would like further information, please contact Susan Spinetti at sspinetti@monroecc.edu.
