Brighton Campus New Student Orientation

All incoming students are expected to participate in
New Student Orientation!
Orientation is an essential element of your transition to the college. You will learn how to be successful both personally and academically, about the services and resources that will assist you at Monroe Community College. You will have an opportunity to meet new and returning students who will help you make the most of your time at MCC.

Orientation Options:

Tuesday, January 19, 2016- Evening Orientation -Orientation begins at 5:30pm and runs through 8:30pm

Thursday, January 21, 2016- Daytime Orientation-Orientation begins at 9am and runs through 2:30pm


What to bring with you to Orientation:
-Your M# (your student ID number beginning with M00)
-Your class schedule for the fall semester
-A photo ID (drivers license, passport, etc.)
-Comfortable shoes for walking around the campus

When you arrive to campus:
Park in Lot M, outside of Building 3. Orientation staff will be inside Building 3 to guide you. Check in begins at 8:30am for day sessions and 5:00pm for evening sessions. Depending on the time of day, lunch or dinner will be provided at no charge.

Family & Guest Orientation Program:
Parents and family members are an important part of a student's transition to college. We believe that parents and family members are an important source of encouragement and support as students begin their educational journey. We encourage you to participate in a separate Parent & Family Orientation program which will provide you with information to help support your students at Monroe Community College.
