Are you ill or injured?
Health Services would like you to stop by our offices in Building 3 Room 165. We have Registered Nurses and a Nurse Practitioner available by appointment.

Are you an athlete who has been injured?
Come to Health Services or see the Athletic Trainer, Doug Henneberg (extension 3389) for a possible referral to the team physician

No Medical Insurance, no funds, no care?
Check out MCC’s affordable health insurance plans. Health Service can also help with referrals to low or no cost primary care clinics.

No Dental Care?
Make an appointment at our Dental Hygiene Clinic for a cleaning and evaluation. Treatment is provided by our dental hygiene students and it’s FREE (or close to it)!

Are you concerned that you or a friend has a drinking problem or a drug problem?
Seek out the Counseling Center for personal counseling. Walk-in times are posted for counselors. Stop in or call (292-2030) for an appointment with a counselor.

Want to learn more about “personal growth” or study habits?
Try attending one of the Brighton Counseling Center’s Workshops. Workshops address issues common among college students such as procrastination and test anxiety.

Do you prefer some self help information from the Counseling Center?
On-line help includes topics from impulse control and depression to sexual orientation and cults.

Concerned about a possible STD and other relationship problems?
Eating and sleeping problems?

Experiencing signs of depression or more seriously, suicidal thoughts?

These are issues you shouldn’t try to deal with alone. Stop by Health Services or Counseling for help.

Do you have a disability?
Are you having difficulty getting to and from classes?

Do you need a special parking permit?

Assistance is available from Services for Students with Disabilities.

Has illness or injury interfered with your class attendance?
Talk with your Professor.
Missed 2 weeks or more of classes?
Contact Health Services at 292-2018.

Missed final exam?
Serious illness or family matter?

Have you missed numerous classes because of this?

Do you have to leave school?

Lost your books, your keys, or your sweater?
Stop at the information desk at the main entrance to MCC.

Serious problems on campus such as theft, abuse, harassment, altercation?
Have you been a victim of rape?

Date rape?
Seen or involved in drugs or alcohol on campus?
Contact Public Safety at 292-2911 on Brighton Campus or 262-1414 on Damon Campus.

Are you a resident hall student?
Be sure you meet and establish relationships with your Resident Advisor. They are the answer to many of the questions you may have.
