Monroe Community College Testing Services proctors exams for other colleges and universities on a space available basis at the Brighton Campus; there is a non-refundable  $23.50 ($20 Proctor Fee + $3.50 Credit Card Processing Fee) Testing Fee for all appointments.

Steps for Test Proctoring at MCC for Another Institution

  1. You request proctoring at MCC 
  2. We will determine if we can accommodate your testing.  Expect an e-mail within 5 to 7 working days either approving your request or requesting more information. 
  3. You or Your College sends us any required proctor forms that must be completed prior to testing.
  4. We send completed proctor forms to your institution.
  5. Your College sends us exam materials.
  6. You schedule your proctoring at MCC using the Schedule a Test link.
  7. We proctor your exam according to your college's instructions.  

 

Students who identify themselves as having a disability and are requesting placement testing accommodations must have approval through their own institution prior to testing at MCC.

Important Information for the Day of Your Test

  • Parking pass is required please print a parking permit and follow all directions.
  • Arrive at the Brighton Testing Center (Building 3, Room 107) at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled testing time.
  • Photo ID is required to test (current Driver's license, Student ID, Military ID).
  • Plan to arrive with enough time to complete your test-- it is your responsibility to confirm that you can complete your test in the scheduled time.

Items Prohibited in the Testing Center (coin lockers are available outside the testing center-- a quarter is required):

  • Personal belongings.
  • Electronic devices
  • Cell phones.
  • Cameras.
  • Food and drink.
  • Hats.
  • Children and visitors.

The Placement Testing Center employs video and audio monitoring equipment for promoting academic integrity and a safe testing environment.  This equipment may be monitored and records at all times.
