MCC leaders and community members have long held a vision of a true college campus in downtown Rochester, one that meets the changing needs of an urban population and reflects the aspirations, goals, and dreams of our talented students. After a process and dialogue spanning many years, on February 12, 2013 the Monroe County Legislature approved the purchase of the Kodak property for MCC’s new, permanent downtown campus.
Many students, alumni, employees, friends, and community leaders helped us achieve this significant milestone -- one two decades in the making. Now we continue to come together to plan the exciting transition to our new campus and the further realization of our vision. Together we have redefined and strengthened the college’s potential impact on our community, and we are excited to move forward in creating a learning environment our students deserve.
