CRC 132 - A Global Perspective on Mobile and Cloud Computing

3 Credits

This course examines the technological infrastructures deployed in various regions of the world that facilitate cloud and mobile computing. In this course, students will investigate the technical issues surrounding access and ownership of mobile services and resources in the cloud. Three class hours.

Course Learning Outcomes
1. Classify the various types of mobile technology.
2. Describe the various models for deploying cloud technology.
3. Explain the impact of cloud-based computing technology on mobile computing.
4. Analyze how mobile and cloud technologies are used in various regions of the world.
