Special Studies

This course is part of a four course sequence which provides a systematic course of study to assist firefighters to maintain their proficiency in core competencies and knowledge. It also provides a means to integrate technological advances in the various disciplines involved in firefighting with the students' existing knowledge and skills. Completion of the four course sequence meets requirements for annual firefighter in-service training mandated by 19 NYCRR Part 426.7.
